I love to sing Bollywood songs but never got any training nor had any prior experience of singing in front of any audience. I am glad that I met Nisha and started taking lessons from her. At the beginning of the lesson she teaches Alankars for around 20-25 minutes and then we move on to the song. Nisha is very patient and has a very calm personality. She keeps lessons fun and exciting and gives very useful tips to improve your singing. I am going to Nisha for around 5 months and there is a lot of improvement in my singing. I have gained so much confidence that I have sung few solo songs in front of a crowd of around 100 people and received good response. I learnt Hindustani classical as a kid. and getting back to music has been on my wish list from a long time. I started taking voice lessons from Nisha one on one and it has been almost a year now. It was the best decision I made in 2019. I am very impressed with her patience and ability to pin point on what mistakes I make and how to improve the voice quality. She always has tips and they are very personified and really encouraging. Her sessions not only teaches music but are very inspiring as well. I was so happy that I started sending my 5 YO as well for Hindustani classical lessons. She teaches hindustani classical way better than how I learnt as a kid. I am really impressed on how the classes are tailored differently for my son and me. To me she explains the 'Ragaas' that I am learning so beautifully that it gives a different dimension to learning the music. I am taking Bollywood singing lessons with Nishaji and am really enjoying them. Although I have limited prior experience in singing I feel that there is already a noticeable improvement. A normal class includes about 25 minutes of Alankar followed by a Bollywood song of for the remainder of the hour. This way I believe I am getting the benefit of both classical and theoretical aspects as well as a chance to sing songs that I enjoy. Nishaji has a patient and encouraging way of teaching and sharing knowledge that creates a no-stress environment. I would recommend her classes to anyone who is interested Hindustani vocal training.
